About Us -

Since 1994, Aquaturf Sprinkler Services has been serving its customers in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. We are a Guelph, Ontario based company with over 25 years of experience in the lawn sprinkler and irrigation industry. We provide our customers with a high end lawn sprinkler system at a competitive price. Our clientele include residential homes as well as large and small commercial plaza's and office buildings.

All new systems come with a warranty and a first year spring start-up and fall shut down. We use quality products to build a quality system so that the system will cost less over the years in maintenance.

For customers who already have a sprinkler system, our services Include repairs of defective or damaged sprinklers or other components; annual spring startup and fall shut down.

• Lawns & gardens kept irrigated when there is a dry period keeping plants and lawn healthier and more attractive.
• Avoids the inconvenience of dragging hoses and over or under watering
• An automatic lawn sprinkler system saves money on water bills and provides a healthier and more attractive yard.

Services -

We perform spring start-ups, checking sprinkler heads for proper adjustment, checking timer for proper programming, and repairing any damage or defects. We perform fall shut-downs blowing all lines out to prevent freezing of the system causing it to become damaged. We document items that might be of concern to a client to be addressed the following season. Any service required during the season while the system is being used.

4. Any renovation due to changes to a landscape.
   
5. Full installation of a new system in a new or established home or business.
   
6. We provide free estimates, meeting with the client, taking measurements and discussing the clients watering needs. We then build a lawn sprinkler design and deliver to the client for review.

Products -

AquaTurf uses only the finest quality products from the leading manufacturers of professional irrigation equipment. For medium to large lawn areas we use the Hunter PGP or PGJ. For smaller lawn areas and gardens we use Rain Bird 1800 series spray heads.

The controller (timer) we use is primarily the Hunter Pro-C. In instances of large sites, we use the Hunter ICC. We use Irritrol and Rain Bird valves. We use the Hunter mini clik rain sensor to reduce or eliminate watering in the event of rain.

How a System is Installed -

We use state of the art equipment like the machine on the right. It has a vibratory plow on it to pull the pipe into the ground doing very little damage to your lawn as it works. By following our guidelines, usually within one week, you will find it difficult to see any evidence that there was any disruption to your lawn.

Spring Turn On -

Spring Start-Up incudes the following steps:

• Visual Inspection of sprinkler heads & grounds
• Repair any minor winter damage
• Re-Install pump (if applicable)
• Close winter drain valves
• Open main system water supply valve
• Inspect sprinkler plumbing and mainlines for leaks
• Program Controller for Spring operation
• Operate system and check Controller, Valves & Sprinklers
• Check low voltage wiring
• Clean and adjust heads as required
• Review system operation with owner - if available

Winterizing -

Winterizing incudes the following steps:

• Close main sprinkler supply valve
• Supply air compressor to remove water from system
• Set Controller for Winter operation
• Remove Pump (if applicable)
